William Nakamura
Chief Executive Officer
William Nakamura is CEO of DeepDots Ventures, where he leads the firm's investment strategy and fund operations. He founded DeepDots in 2021 with the conviction that developer tools represent one of the most durable investment categories in software. Prior to DeepDots, William spent over a decade in enterprise software investing and product leadership, where he developed deep expertise in the platforms and tooling that engineering teams rely on daily. He brings a founder-centric approach to every partnership, focusing on long-term value creation over short-term metrics.
Ian Fraser
Partner
Ian Fraser is a Partner at DeepDots Ventures, leading investments in collaboration platforms and developer productivity tools. He brings extensive experience from both the operating and investing sides of enterprise software, having previously led product teams at multiple high-growth developer tools companies. Ian focuses on identifying companies with exceptional bottom-up distribution potential and helping portfolio founders navigate their earliest growth challenges.
Luke Harrington
Venture Partner
Luke Harrington is a Venture Partner at DeepDots Ventures, contributing domain expertise in cloud infrastructure, observability, and developer experience. With a background in engineering leadership at several enterprise cloud companies, Luke brings a practitioner's perspective to evaluating developer tools investments. He supports portfolio companies with technical strategy, engineering hiring, and go-to-market positioning.
